Due to computerization and the extensive development of chess theory, success at the highest level of professional chess requires not only thorough preparation by the contestant, but also substantial research and assistance by a team of seconds who are also top players. Sponsorship for such an effort is essential, and is being provided for the other three finalists by their governments, but state assistance for chess does not exist in the United States. Through this website, our foundation is trying to reach out and enlist the help of all supporters who would like to see an American player reach the pinnacle of global chess, the winning of the world championship.

Gata Kamsky's Chess Library for Sale
The Foundation is offering for Sale a unique collection of Gata Kamsky’s original chess library. These books were never offered to the general public before and may contain Gata’s original markings, notes or commentaries. There are books in English and Russian. Each book will have Grandmaster Kamsky’s autograph.
All proceeds will go the Foundation to support Gata’s preparations for the World Championship.
To order a book please e-mail your name and mailing address to the Foundation as well as your selection from the attached list.
The suggested donation for each book is $25.00 plus $5.00 (within the US) or $10.00(international) for shipping and handling . Please allow 10 days for delivery of your order.

OUR GOALS
This fundraising effort is created on behalf of GM Kamsky by the Gata Kamsky International Chess & Sports Foundation, to assist GM Kamsky to become the next World Chess Champion. This is only an immediate goal of the Foundation then any resources received thru private donations will go to assist other talented, smart, and honest individuals in chess or other sports who dare to challenge and to become the world’s best.
The Foundation will create and develop an interactive website with a biography of Gata Kamsky, pages of pictures from his childhood and different tournaments, many interesting stories of his growing up.
